Cleaning Policies
How booking, cancellations, re-cleans, pets, keys and payment work, written so you know what to expect before we arrive.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please give us at least 48 hours notice to cancel or move a cleaning. Cancellations with less notice, or a locked-out visit, may be charged a late-cancellation fee, which we confirm when you book. Illness and emergencies happen; call us and we will work with you.
What is your re-clean guarantee?
If something on your checklist was missed, tell us within 24 hours with a photo if you can, and we come back to re-clean that area at no charge. The guarantee covers checklist items, not tasks that were never booked.
Access, Keys and Security
- You can be home, leave a lockbox or share a door or garage code.
- Codes are stored securely and shared only with your assigned cleaner.
- Alarm codes: please disarm or give us instructions before the visit.
- We lock up and confirm by text when the cleaning is finished.
Pets
Friendly pets are welcome. Nervous or protective dogs should be crated, in a closed room or in the yard. We will not let pets in or out unless you ask us to in writing.
Payment
Payment is due on the day of service, and we confirm accepted payment methods when you book. Recurring clients can keep a card on file and are charged after each clean.
Heat, Smoke and Safety
On extreme heat days we may start earlier in the morning. During hazardous smoke advisories or evacuation warnings in Shasta County we may reschedule for the safety of our cleaners and your household, with no fee to you.
We do not clean biohazards, active mold growth, hoarding situations, or anything requiring climbing on roofs. We will refer you to a specialist.
Damage and Breakage
Accidents are rare but possible. Tell us within 48 hours and we handle it through our liability insurance. Please put away irreplaceable items and valuables before your first clean.
